Vertigo, Balance Retraining and Vestibular Rehab

Picture

If you're experiencing dizziness, vertigo, balance problems, or have suffered a fall, physical therapy can help you regain your confidence and safely return to your daily activities. These symptoms can affect people of all ages and may result from inner ear disorders, neurological conditions, injuries, or age-related changes.
Vertigo is more than just feeling dizzy. It may feel like the room is spinning, a sensation of swaying or being off balance, lightheadedness, or feeling disconnected from your surroundings. Our therapists perform a thorough evaluation to identify the underlying cause of your symptoms and develop a personalized treatment plan to reduce dizziness, improve balance, and restore your quality of life.
Jill, Russell, and Susie have advanced training and extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of vertigo and vestibular disorders, including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and other conditions affecting the inner ear. Using evidence-based vestibular rehabilitation techniques, they help patients reduce symptoms and return to normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.
Our entire team is experienced in balance training and fall prevention. Through individualized exercises that improve strength, coordination, posture, and stability, we help patients reduce their risk of falls, increase confidence with walking and daily activities, and maintain an active, independent lifestyle.
Whether you're recovering from a recent fall, struggling with persistent dizziness, or simply want to improve your balance, Michigan In Motion Physical Therapy is here to help patients throughout Macomb County and surrounding communities move safely and confidently.
