Sports Injury Rehabilitation for Athletes and Weekend Warriors

Picture
Whether you're a competitive athlete, weekend warrior, or simply enjoy staying active, injuries can happen. At Michigan In Motion Physical Therapy, we help athletes of all ages recover from injuries, restore strength and mobility, and safely return to the activities they love.
Our physical therapists have experience treating athletes involved in a wide variety of sports, including football, swimming, softball, volleyball, soccer, cycling, weightlifting, running, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, and gymnastics. We understand the demands each sport places on the body and create individualized treatment plans designed around your specific goals and level of activity.
Our sports injury physical therapy programs focus on:
  • Reducing pain and inflammation
  • Improving strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility
  • Restoring proper movement patterns
  • Accelerating recovery after injury
  • Preventing future injuries through targeted exercise and education
  • Safely progressing you back to your sport or activity
You don't have to be a professional athlete to benefit from sports rehabilitation. We also help "weekend warriors" recover from injuries that happen when life gets busy. Maybe you decided to run five miles after taking two years off, spent a weekend raking leaves or shoveling snow, or pushed yourself harder than usual during a workout—these everyday activities can lead to back pain, muscle strains, joint pain, and overuse injuries.
Our goal is to help you get back to doing what you enjoy—stronger, healthier, and more confident in your movement.
Michigan In Motion Physical Therapy proudly provides sports injury rehabilitation and orthopedic physical therapy for athletes and active individuals throughout Macomb County and surrounding communities.
