Fall Prevention
Physical Therapy is a key component in a collaborative team approach to fall prevention. If you have a fear of falling, history of past falls and feel unsteady or off balance, you should talk with your physician or physical therapist for some advice on fall prevention. Physical Therapists can evaluate your strength, balance and function to help develop an individualized exercise program. The exercise program will incorporate several components of balance to target deficits found during the evaluation.
